Ukrainian official: Volnovakha regained, Mariupol struggling, Berdyansk temporarily occupied

Ukrainian armed forces have pushed Russian troops out of Volnovakha, Donetsk, who tried to invade the settlement a day before. Mariupol is struggling against the invaders, and Berdyansk in Zaporizhzhia temporarily passed under the enemy's control, Zelensky's Advisor Oleksiy Arestovich told a briefing, according to Report.

"The enemy occupied Volnovakha today (yesterday - ed.), concentrated on the site of the main strike, but owing to the counterattack by Ukrainian Armed Forces, Volnovakha was fought back. And now our troops are there. They are localizing problems south of Volnovakha. Mariupol is struggling; there are no problems," he said.

Arestovich also explained the situation with the invasion of Berdyansk by Russian troops.

"Our troops were not there," he said.
