Ukrainian city of Lviv hit by rocket fire, residential houses damaged

As a result of the rocket fire in the city of Lviv, Ukraine, residential buildings were damaged and windows were broken, said the mayor of the city of Lviv, Andrey Sadovoy, Report informs, citing RBC-Ukraine.

According to him, some of the rockets fell into the city. There is no information about the injured yet.

On Thursday, February 15, around 2:00 a.m. Kyiv time, six Tu-95 strategic bombers took off from the Olenya airfield in the Murmansk region. Later, another aircraft joined them.

Around 5:00 a.m., air raid sirens were announced in several regions, which later spread across the entire territory of Ukraine. The Ukrainian Air Force reported the launch of Kalibr missiles by the Russian army from the Black Sea.

Air defense systems have been responding in Kyiv Oblast on the morning of February 15, and explosions have been heard in the city of Kyiv.
