Ukrainian army pulls Russian troops out of positions in Andriivka district near Bakhmut

The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to advance in the Bakhmut direction. The Russian Armed Forces withdrew from their positions in the Andiivka area of the Donetsk region of Ukraine, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine.

According to the representative of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalev, in the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops continue to conduct offensive operations north and south of the city of Bakhmut.

"During the offensive assault operations by the Defense Forces, the enemy was forced to withdraw from positions in the Andriivka area," Kovalev noted.

According to a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue the counter-offensive operations north and south of Bakhmut. In particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated four square kilometers in this direction over the past week.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day there have been more than 35 combat clashes, and Ukrainian troops hit 9 enemy artillery.
