Ukrainian army preparing for second wave of counterattack

The Ukrainian army is preparing for the second wave of counterattack, said the German Bild newspaper, Report informs.

According to information, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his speech at the forum on security issues in the US city of Aspen, admitted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a cautious attack: "But now, the moment when the speed of counter-attacks can increase is approaching."

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken recently made a similar statement, stressing that it is too early to talk about the results of the counter-offensive operation of the Ukrainian army.

Colonel Serhiy Baranov of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said recently that about 90 percent of the Russian army's losses were caused by Ukrainian missile and artillery units. He called the created strike groups and the long-range weapons of the West "fiery fist".

Analysts of the US Institute for the Study of War (ISW) believed that these attacks successfully destroy Russian troops, and Ukrainians are preparing for a new attack.
