The Armed Forces of Ukraine have already liberated 53 settlements in the Kherson Oblast, the acting chairman of the Kherson regional military administration Dmitry Butrim said on the national telethon, Report informs referring to UNIAN.
“As of today, it has been officially confirmed that 53 settlements have been liberated. We announce information only when it is agreed with the General Staff., Because the military carries out certain demining actions before the complete liberation,” he said.
Dmitry Butrim noted that almost the entire de-occupied territory was subjected to constant shelling of residential buildings, infrastructure facilities and schools by Russians, and the situation in these villages is catastrophic.
“Of course, we do not recommend people to return, because they would put their lives in grave danger,” Butrim emphasized.
