Ukraine demands to urgently open humanitarian corridor from Azovstal

Ukraine demands Russia establish an urgent humanitarian corridor from the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk said, Report informs.

“There are about 1,000 civilians and 500 wounded soldiers there. They all need to be pulled out of Azovstal today!” she wrote on Telegram.

“I call on world leaders and the international community to focus their efforts now on Azovstal. Now, this is a key point and a key moment for humanitarian efforts,” she added.
