Türkiye to produce new fighter jet

Türkiye will produce a new fighter jet, the President of the Turkish Defense Industry Agency, Ismail Demir, told local press, Report informs.

According to him, the US-made F-16 fighters will be modernized: “We will modernize those jets. After that, we will get rid of foreign dependence.”

Demir said that the new fighter jet will be named Ozgur.
