Türkiye to demolish 61,722 buildings in earthquake region

61,722 buildings in the earthquake region of Türkiye will be demolished because they are completely unfit for living.

Report informs, citing TRT Haber, that it was revealed as a result of the monitoring conducted by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change.

According to information, 13,917 buildings were moderately damaged. The work of assessing the damage to the buildings in the quake-hit areas continues.
