Turkiye simplifies visa regime with Bosnia and Herzegovina

Turkiye is simplifying the visa regime with Bosnia and Herzegovina, making it possible for the citizens of the two countries to make mutual trips with identity cards.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made the remark at a joint press conference with members of the presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday in Sarajevo, Report informs citing Anadolu.

According to the Turkish leader, the relevant instructions were given to the foreign ministries of the two countries.

Erdogan noted that a similar agreement is planned to be concluded with Serbia on Wednesday, September 7.

The President added that the development of mutual trade, the volume of which reached $876 million in 2021, is one of the priorities of cooperation between Ankara and Sarajevo.
