Türkiye should analyze FETO very deeply while building its future, Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz said, Report informs.
He made the remark at the panel titled "July 15: Memory, Justice and Future" as part of the media program held on the occasion of July 15 - Democracy and National Unity Day of Türkiye.
Yilmaz declared that an attempted coup in a democratic country is, by its nature, treason against the homeland and nation.
The vice president highlighted that memory is as important for a society as it is for an individual:
"There can be no justice and future in a society without memory. As the former President of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alija Izetbegović, said, ‘Do not forget the tragedy you experienced: if you forget, they will make you experience it again.’ On the night of July 15, the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye was bombed by traitors wearing military uniforms. There is no greater betrayal than that. The Presidential Palace was also bombed. This is a clear example of the FETO mentality."
