Türkiye, Moldova ink memorandum on energy collaboration

Türkiye and Moldova have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the energy sector, as announced by Türkiye's Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar on X after his meeting with Moldovan counterpart Viktor Parlikov, Report informs.

The meeting took place in Istanbul as part of an international energy forum.

The agreement aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience in various sectors, including renewable energy, energy efficiency, electricity trade, smart grid technologies, and natural gas supply. The two countries plan to collaborate on joint projects in these areas.

The document further promotes the transfer of knowledge and technology, encourages investment, and fosters cooperation between the private sectors of Türkiye and Moldova.
