The presidential election in Turkiye, scheduled for June 18, 2023, can be brought forward, Mustafa Sentop, the President of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye, said in an interview with A Haber, Report informs.

Sentop said that there might be some reasons for this: “In particular, many people go on pilgrimage to Mecca in the summer months. For this reason, perhaps, the election can be hgeld earlier.”
