Turkish special services eliminate one of leaders of MLKP terrorists in Syria

The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has conducted an operation in Syria to neutralize one of the leaders of the banned terrorist Marxist-Leninist Communist Party (MLKP) Zeki Gurbuz, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.

According to the Turkish intelligence services, Gurbuz, among others, was the organizer of the terror attack (April 20, 2022) on a prison car in the Mudanya district of Bursa province.

The MLKP terrorist with the call sign ‘Ahmet Sores’ in recent years led a cell of a criminal organization in Syria and was liquidated north of Al Hasakah city.

In 2013, Gurbuz was detained in Greece, but was soon released despite Turkiye’s demand for the terrorist’s extradition. From Greece, he went to Iraq and then to Syria, where he led the MLKP terrorist squads.
