Turkish President arrives in Lviv

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived on an official visit to Ukraine, Report informs, citing Haberturk.

The Turkish leader is already in Lviv.

During the Lviv talks on Thursday with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy and UN Secretary-General António Guterres, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan may put forward the initiative of a temporary ceasefire in Ukraine, as well as Ankara's mediation in the exchange of prisoners of war between the parties to the conflict, Report informs via TASS.

Erdogan also plans to offer to resume the Istanbul negotiation process and make Turkiye a platform for a meeting between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine.

According to NTV, the Turkish leader will also support the extension of the mechanism for the implementation of the grain deal to other types of products.
