Ukraine and Russia have agreed to exchange 40 servicemen, Report informs referring to RBC-Ukraine.
An agreement on this was reached during a meeting of the Ombudsmen of Ukraine and the Russian Federation Dmytro Lubinets and Tatyana Moskalkova in Ankara. It was held as part of the international forum, which will take place January 12-14.
Ankara hopes for the opening of a humanitarian corridor between Russia and Ukraine through Turkiye's mediation.
The so-called "reunification corridor" will be created to help the affected children, women and the wounded, Turkish Ombudsman Seref Malkoc said, Report informs via A Haber.
"After the 'grain corridor' we have the intention to assist in the opening of the corridor for the reunification of families, women, children and the wounded," he said.
Malkoc hopes that the meeting of the Ombudsmen of Turkiye, Russia and Ukraine in Ankara will help find solutions for the reunification of civilians affected by the crisis.
