Turkish Minister calls Zangazur corridor 'a short route to Turkic World'

Türkiye’s cooperation with Azerbaijan on the Zangazur corridor is progressing well, according to Abdulkadir Uraloglu, Türkiye’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Report informs via Anadolu Agency.

Uraloglu stated that significant progress has been made on the Azerbaijani side: “Work is largely completed in Azerbaijan, with ongoing efforts in Nakhchivan covering about 180 kilometers. On the Turkish side, a 224-kilometer corridor from Dilucu, Igdir to Kars will be linked to the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars line. This will provide a short route to the Turkic world,” he explained.
