Turkish leader: Azerbaijani Army entered Khojaly to bring peace and tranquility

The Azerbaijani Army entered Khojaly to bring peace and tranquility, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told journalists on the plane when he returned from an official visit to Azerbaijan, Report informs.

According to him, Armenia is currently paying and will pay for the Khojaly massacre, since more than 1 million Azerbaijanis were literally expelled from Khojaly and other cities.

The Turkish leader noted that the Azerbaijani Army entered Khojaly not to bring chaos, blood, and death but peace and tranquility: "Azerbaijan did not enter there like the Armenian gangs did years ago. It did not enter to kill people but to ensure peace and tranquility. In other words, Azerbaijan entered its land with the good news of victories. Now is the time for permanent peace and tranquility for both Khojaly and Karabakh under the sovereignty of Azerbaijan. Armenia's duty is to be on the side of peace to establish and protect this peace."
