Turkish expert considers it necessary to prevent West from coming to South Caucasus

The US is losing its positions in the South Caucasus and the Middle East, and Türkiye is filling this gap, Turkish political expert Husameddin Inanc said at the international Turan conference of the Center for Analysis of International Relations (AIR Center) dedicated to the future of the Turkic World, Report informs.

According to him, Washington is not able to influence the processes in the world as before, US is losing its hegemony in the world.

According to the expert, if the Turkic world acts together, it can achieve more results:

"Today, the process is moving towards a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Of course, Ankara-Baku solidarity plays an important role in this issue. But Washington and Paris hinder. They do not want peace in the region. It is necessary to prevent the West from coming to the region. Because the US and France are a threat to the region."
