Turkish authorities uncover cyber espionage network selling personal data to terrorists

In a joint operation, Türkiye's National Intelligence Organization, Gendarmerie General Command, and National Cyber Incident Response Center (USOM) have uncovered a cybercriminal espionage network that had been stealing personal data from thousands of internet users, both within the country and abroad, to sell to terrorist groups.

Per Report, which cites Turkish media outlets, as a result of the successful operation, all 11 members of the cybercriminal group have been apprehended, and the internet resources they used to carry out their illegal activities have been blocked.
