F-16 fighters of the Turkish Air Force on November 21 resumed strikes on the positions of Kurdish formations from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party and the People’s Self-Defense Forces in Syria, Report informs referring to CNN Turk TV channel.
Airstrikes are carried out in the Syrian region of Kobani in response to shelling of the Turkish cities of Oncupinar and Karkamis. The Turkish media blamed the shelling of Turkish cities on members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party and the People’s Self-Defense Forces banned in the republic, which could be their response to Turkiye’s new air operation in Syria and Iraq on November 20.
