Turkiye temporarily suspends movement of ships through Bosphorus

The movement of ships through the Bosphorus has been temporarily suspended, the Turkish Coast Guard Service said, Report informs via TASS.

As of 07:20, March 10, the Bosphorus was closed for passage in both directions due to adverse weather conditions, the Coast Guard said.

In several regions of Turkiye, including Istanbul and Ankara, weather conditions deteriorated sharply on March 10. Snowfall is expected in some areas, which is not typical for March in Turkiye. In this regard, Turkish Airlines canceled more than 400 flights at two airports in Istanbul, including 71 foreign ones.
