Turkey issues arrest warrant for Sedat Peker

Ankara's Second Criminal Court of Peace has issued an arrest warrant for Sedat Peker, the leader of an internationally wanted organized criminal group in Turkey.

Report informs, citing Hurriyet, that the decision was made on the recommendation of the Ankara Prosecutor General's Office.

According to the prosecutor's office, a criminal case is underway against Peker: "Sedat Peker, who is suspected of committing a crime, is currently abroad, so Ankara's Second Criminal Court of Peace issued an arrest warrant for him on May 26 at the request of the Ankara Prosecutor General's Office."

Note that Peker is currently in Morocco.
