Turkey floods cause evacuation of 1,720 citizens 

1,720 people have been evacuated from the cities hit by the flood in Turkey, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun wrote on Twitter.

“Helicopters and boats have evacuated 323 citizens in Bartin, 925 in Kastamonu, 472 in Sinop,” he said.

According to him, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit the flood-hit areas.
