Turkey boosts its arsenal with new warship

Amphibious multifunctional assault ship has been included in the arsenal of the Turkish Armed Forces, Report informs, citing еру Twitter page of the Turkish Armed Forces.

The Amphibious Group Command conducted tasks together with the Marine Brigade and the Land Forces helicopters as part of the preparatory exercises.

The Amphibious Warship was built at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard in Turkey at $650 million. It was commissioned in 2021 and is currently being tested. The vessel is 232 meters long, 32 meters wide, and 58 meters high. It has 56 flights, 50 medical workers, 200 staff employees, 550-570 paratroopers, and 371 states with 1223 personnel.

Moreover, it can replace 10 Anka or Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicles, 8 As532 or CH-47F helicopters, 4 T-129 ATAK helicopters, 2 S70-B SEAHAWK helicopters.
