Former US President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has declared that he will soon engage in debates with Vice President Kamala Harris, who is running for the highest office on behalf of the Democratic Party.
According to Report, in an interview with Fox News, Trump stated, "We will have debates with her, I think, in the near future. It will be announced soon."
This announcement comes after Trump previously claimed that he had reached an agreement with Fox News to hold televised debates with Harris on September 4. The ex-president explained that the prior arrangement for debates on ABC on September 10 was no longer relevant due to the withdrawal of current President Joe Biden from the race. However, Harris' campaign team rejected Trump's proposal, insisting that he should appear for the debates on September 10 as originally planned.
