Kazakhstan's government commission is investigating the AZAL plane crash with specialists from Russia, Azerbaijan, and Brazil, Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said during a phone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, according to Report.
"Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that the established government commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues the investigation with the involvement of specialists from Azerbaijan, Russia, and Brazil," the press service of Kazakhstan's president reported.
The Kremlin's press service reported that Kazakhstan will involve specialists from Russia, Azerbaijan, and the aircraft manufacturer - Brazil - to decode the black boxes of the airliner that crashed near Aktau. This was agreed upon by the presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan, Vladimir Putin and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
"This work, conducted on Kazakhstan's territory, will be objective and transparent," the statement indicates.
