Timur Jumurbayev: APK important institution for maintaining public harmony in Kazakhstan

As part of the XXXIV session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan (APK), the III Republican youth session of the APK "Assembly Youth: New Wave, Creative Generation" was held on April 23, the head of the youth wing of the Assembly Timur Jumurbayev told Report.

"Today at the XXXIV session we expect to sum up the 30-year work of the Assembly, and we also look forward with great interest to the speech of the head of state - especially in the context of the further development of the Institute of the Assembly and strengthening of public harmony in the country," he noted.

According to Jumurbayev, the APK remains a key institution for maintaining public harmony in Kazakhstan and plays an important role in the social self-realization of youth.

"On April 23, the traditional Republican youth session was held, bringing together delegates from all regions of the country. We are actively working in all areas. The APK youth is currently represented in all regions of Kazakhstan, with more than 9,000 people involved in its activities. Moreover, the activity is demonstrated not only within the country, but also beyond its borders," he emphasized.

According to the APK, during the III Republican youth session, the best youth projects of the Assembly implemented over the past 30 years, as well as the main achievements of the regional branches, were presented. The speakers discussed the areas of activity of the Assembly Youth organization, including the development of creative industries, social work, prevention of negative phenomena and international cooperation.

The key priorities of the youth wing for the coming year were also announced. A number of activists and leaders of the organization were awarded the jubilee medal "30 years of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan" for their contribution to strengthening public harmony.
