Terror attack in Iran's Shiraz leaves 15 dead

A terrorist attack in a holy shrine in the southwestern city of Shiraz, Iran, has martyred at least 15 and wounded many others, Report informs, citing Mehr.

According to the Iranian authorities, a gunman stormed the Shahcheragh shrine in Shiraz on Wednesday afternoon and martyred at least 15 people and wounded 40 more.

Fars Province's police commander has said that there was only a terrorist.

The attack targeted worshippers who were preparing for evening prayers. Reports say one woman and three children were among the victims.

The terrorist started shooting at the worshippers after entering the holy shrine through the front door.
