Tehran and Moscow set up support line of $5B

As part of the trade and economic agreements reached during the visit of President Ibrahim Raisi to Moscow, Iran and Russia will create a $5 billion support line, Iranian Economy Minister Ehsan Khanduzi said, Report informs, citing Tasnim.

"In negotiations with the Russian side, we achieved favorable bilateral agreements in the trade and economic sphere. Among them is a document on creating a $5 billion support line between Iran and Russia," he said.

On Wednesday, for the first time since being elected to office in August 2021, the Iranian president arrived in Moscow, where he held talks with Vladimir Putin. According to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Raisi's visit to Moscow is very important. During this event, it will be necessary to conduct an 'inventory of relations, given changes in the Iranian leadership.'
