President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has embarked on a visit to Astana, Kazakhstan, according to the president's press service.
According to Report, the Tajik leader is set to participate in the Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State and the First Summit of the Central Asia + Japan Dialogue.
The high-level delegation accompanying President Rahmon includes the assistant to the president on foreign relations, as well as the ministers of foreign affairs, economic development and trade, finance, industry, and new technologies.
