Presidents of Germany and Georgia Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Salome Zourabichvili have discussed the current situation in Georgia in a phone call, Report informs via Georgian media.
"I am grateful for your clear and firm position in support of freedom and democracy. The population of Georgia has chosen the path of Europe. Germany supports Georgia on its European path, which also includes freedom of the media and civil society," the German president said.
