Some parts of Georgia left without electricity

Tbilisi's electricity supply has been fully restored, the local Bureau of Report informs, citing Georgian State Electric System JSC.

The work is underway to restore electricity to regional consumers.

The problem with the electricity supply in Georgia was caused by an accident, the local Bureau of Report informs, citing Georgian State Electric System JSC.

According to the report, the 500-kilowatt Imereti power transmission line and Inguri HPP were suspended today at 14:00 due to the accident. Thus, a major part of the Georgian population faced restrictions on the supply of electricity.

Work is underway to eliminate the consequences of the accident.
