Shmyhal: EU to allocate 25M euros for mine clearance program in Ukraine

The EU will allocate 25 million euros for a mine clearance program in Ukraine, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said, Report informs.

“Grateful to EU for the decision to launch a €25 million demining program as an important part of Ukraine’s recovery,” he tweeted.

Shmyhal noted that he had discussed with the head of the EU Foreign Service, Josep Borrell, sanctions against Russia, as well as military and other assistance to Kyiv.
