Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov will pay a visit to Armenia in October.
According to Report, citing the Armenian Prime Minister's office, the announcement came during a phone conversation between Berdimuhamedov and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
During the discussion, the two leaders addressed the future development of Armenia–Turkmenistan relations and issues on the bilateral agenda. Both leaders emphasized the importance of expanding trade and economic ties and taking consistent steps in this direction.
Pashinyan also highlighted that Armenia will host the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity in October, and invited Berdimuhamedov to attend the Leaders' Summit. The Turkmen President accepted the invitation with pleasure.
