Secretary of Iranian Security Council to take part in St. Petersburg security forum

Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran Ali Akbar Ahmadiyan will take part in the 12th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues, which will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia, the Iranian agency IRNA said, Report informs via TASS.

Ahmadiyan will take part in the event at the invitation of Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev.

In St. Petersburg, Ahmadiyan is expected to hold separate meetings with his colleagues from Russia, Brazil, South Africa, China, India and Iraq.

The 12th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues, which is to take place on April 23-25 in St. Petersburg, will be attended by Security Council secretaries, national security advisers, deputy prime ministers, heads of security and intelligence services, and representatives of international organizations. On April 14, First Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Rashid Nurgaliev announced that one of the main topics of the upcoming event would be information security in the context of the emerging multipolar world.
