Second case of monkeypox detected in Russia

The second case of monkeypox has been identified in Russia, Report informs referring to Rospotrebnadzor (Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing).

“As in the first case, the patient is a resident of St. Petersburg, who recently returned from a trip to Europe. Now he is hospitalized, the possibility of further spread of the disease has been stopped,” reads the message.
