Second brawl breaks out in Armenian parliament in one day

The second brawl has occurred in Armenian parliament between the opposition and pro-governmental MPs, Report informs, citing RIA Novosti.

The brawl erupted during the speech of the member of the 'Armenia' opposition faction, head of the 'Reviving Armenia' party.

"You won't be able to mislead the people with the program consisting of populism, pleasant words, toasts, and slogans for long," Hakobyan said, addressing the members of the ruling party. One of the opponents gave a harsh response to him, and the brawl erupted.

The situation in Armenia's National Assembly (NA) strained again Wednesday, during the speech of ruling' Civil Contract' Faction MP Hayk Sargsyan.

In his remarks, Sargsyan stated that the defense ministers during whose tenure people were exempt from military service either by bribery or a telephone 'call' were traitors to the homeland.

The opposition MPs got angry and threw water bottles at Hayk Sargsyan.

Parliament member from 'Armenia' faction Agnessa Hamoyan aired live from her Facebook page. The video shows the opposition and pro-government lawmakers shoving each other. The security officers were called in.
