Saakashvili goes on hunger strike again

Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said at a court hearing on February 21 that he was on an indefinite hunger strike due to poor treatment in prison, Report informs citing TASS.

“They are trying to make me disabled on purpose. You [the Georgian authorities] want me to die. It won’t work. If necessary, I will die with my head held high. From today I declare an indefinite hunger strike,” Saakashvili said.
