The Russian ship Pilgrim crashed off the coast of Malaysia during its world tour, according to Russia's diplomatic mission in Malaysia, Report informs via Russian media.
The ship's captain and crew were not injured.
"The Russian Embassy in Malaysia is aware of the situation regarding the Russian vessel Pilgrim, which was on a world tour, crashing off the northern coast of Borneo Island (Sarawak state of Malaysia) on December 20, 2024. The diplomatic mission has been in contact with the ship's captain S.V. Sinelnik since receiving information about the incident. We are providing assistance to crew members within our authority," the embassy stated.
