Russian prime minister casts online vote in Moscow Duma elections

On Saturday, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin participated in the Moscow City Duma elections by casting his vote online, Report informs citing the Cabinet's Telegram channel.

During the voting process, Mishustin emphasized the key priorities that elected officials should focus on, which include improving the quality of life, increasing the well-being of the people, and creating conditions for maintaining a strong and prosperous country.

The current elections, taking place from September 6 to 8, span across 83 regions of Russia. Approximately 4,000 electoral campaigns are being conducted, with the majority being elections to local self-government bodies. Around 73,000 candidates are competing for 35,000 deputy mandates and elected positions.
