Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has arrived in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, Report informs via Uzbek media.

According to the program of the visit, Mishustin and the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov will hold a joint-commission meeting.
The parties will discuss the progress of implementing agreements on deepening bilateral cooperation.
The heads of government intend to pay special attention to the promotion of major projects in industry, energy, transport, agriculture and other areas. Based on the results, a joint communiqué will be adopted, as well as a number of intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents will be signed.
A meeting between the Russian Prime Minister and the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take place on September 10.
