Russian MP dies from COVID-19

A 63-year-old member of the Moscow Oblast Duma from the United Russia Party Ivan Lukov has died from the coronavirus, head of Bogorodsk town Igor Sukhin wrote on his ‘Vkontakte’ account.

He has been a member of the regional parliament since 1997.

According to official information, the coronavirus cases in Russia have reached 36,793, of which 300 have died.
