Russian missile attack at Rivne TV tower kills 21 in Ukraine

As a result of Russian missile attacks on a TV tower in the Rivne Oblast of Ukraine, 21 people were killed and 9 injured, the head of the Rivne Oblast Governor Vitaliy Koval said, Report informs via the Ukrainian media.

According to him, rescuers have completed search and rescue operations.

“The main task of the local authorities is to restore the TV broadcasting in the Rivne Oblast. There is success in it. In fact, four local TV channels have already resumed work in the DVB-T2 standard. We continue to restore the network further,” the governor said.

According to Koval, television and radio broadcasting in the region will be fully restored within two days.

At about 5:25 am (GMT +2) on Monday morning, two missiles hit the TV tower near Rivne city and the administrative building near it.
