The trilateral statement signed between the leaders of Azerbaijan, Russia, and Armenia remains relevant in the current conditions, there is no alternative to it, the press service of the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry said, Report informs.
“The set of trilateral agreements at the highest level for 2020–2022 certainly remains relevant in the current circumstances. Russia is ready to help the process of normalizing Armenian-Azerbaijani relations in all directions, including the opening of regional transport communications, the development of the terms of a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as the delimitation and demarcation of borders. We support the intensification of relations within the framework of the Trilateral Working Group, co-chaired by the deputy prime ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia. There is simply no alternative reliable mechanism for opening transport communications in the South Caucasus,” reads the statement.
