Russian media: Armenia has lost the war both demographically and intellectually

The behavior of Armenian citizens and hundreds of thousands of Diaspora Armenians must become a subject of instant study by professionals, dealing with mass psychosis and mental deviations, Report informs citing an article in KM.RU headlined 'Armenia after Karabakh: nothing understood, nothing forgotten, nothing learned...'

The author of the article notes that 'after the defeat in Karabakh, very different social networks of Armenia are simmering with endless discussions on the lost national security and future challenges.'

"Despite it all, the country has not seen a single public group or a party ready to assume the function of a 'leader' that could take the country out of the deepest patriotic crisis."

The article describes the current situation in Armenia, which leaves much to be desired due to the total inaction reigning there. "The 'new generals' who lost the war are silent like fish. Generals of the old Soviet formation once ousted from the active social life by the new political elite are also silent. The 'brave and uncowed opposition' is also silent though previously, it ranted seven days a week that Armenia could have changed beyond recognition if the opposition came to power. The diaspora elite is also speechless, though earlier it rattled days and nights at all crossroads about their special ties with Vladimir Putin, Biden, Xi Jinping, and the Lord God in Heaven. There is also no mass influx of patriotic Armenians into the republic, who previously put photos of national heroes on their avatars on social networks. There are no declared hunger strikes or mass protests. Nothing."

According to the article, the people of Armenia are at a turning point because they "lost this war not only demographically, but also intellectually, since the myths about a 'great, ancient and wise nation' have been dispelled without a trace."

The author of the article says that the anti-Russian sentiment inflated to cosmic proportions is one of the main reasons Armenians lost. It got to the point that in many regions of Russia, where Armenians live compactly, the word "Armenian" is equated with the word 'Russia hawk.'

"Even during the war in Karabakh, a representative of the 'great and wise nation' killed one more Russian in Volgograd," the article says, noting that Armenians cannot draw any lesson from what has happened and will never stop being Russia hawks.
