Baku. 31 October. REPORT.AZ / The Investigative Committee (SC) of Russia assessed the explosion in FSB, Arkhangelsk region as a terrorist act, Report informs citing TASS.
The Committee statement reads that criminal proceedings were instituted under the articles on the terrorist act and illegal possession of ammunition related to the explosion in the building of the regional department in Arkhangelsk region
According to the Committee, the explosive device was carried into the building by a 17-year-old boy: "An unknown man entered the building and took out an object from his bag, which detonated in his hands after a while. The instigator of the crime died on the spot. The circumstances are being clarified."
Notably, three FSB employees suffered in the explosion, while the teenager died.
