Russian Internal Ministry puts Estonian Interior Minister on wanted list

The Internal Affairs Minister of Estonia, Lauri Läänemets, has been put on the wanted list of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs under a criminal article, Report informs via TASS

“Läänemets Lauri. Wanted under article of the Criminal Code,” the ministry's database says. The database does not specify what article it is.

Russian law enforcement agencies clarified that a criminal case has been initiated against Läänemets due to the destruction and damage of monuments to Soviet soldiers.

On February 13, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs put Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas and Estonian Secretary of State Taimar Peterkop on the wanted list with criminal charges. They were also involved in cases of destruction and damage to the monuments of Soviet soldiers.
