It is premature to discuss the possibility of US military bases appearing on Armenian territory, according to Sergey Naryshkin, Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).
Report informs that in an interview with TASS, Naryshkin responded to a question about whether the recent changes in Yerevan's policy could lead to the establishment of US military bases in Armenia. "It's too early to talk about that," he stated.
The statement comes in the wake of the Armenia-US Strategic Dialogue meeting, where both sides expressed their intention to strengthen security cooperation and elevate their partnership to a strategic level.
