Russian Foreign Ministry: Moscow considers unacceptable Yerevan’s plans to join ICC Rome Statute

Moscow considers unacceptable Yerevan’s plans to join the Rome Statute of the ICC against the backdrop of “warrants” against the Russian leadership, according to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian bureau of Report informs.

The statement also noted “extremely negative” consequences for relations with Russia in this context, about which Yerevan was warned.

On March 24, the Constitutional Court of Armenia ruled that Armenia’s accession to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court is in line with the fundamental law of the country.
