Russian Defense Ministry: As of 00:00 May 8, all Russian troop groups ceased combat operations

From 00:00 (GMT+3) on May 8, all groups of Russian troops completely ceased hostilities, Report informs referring to the Russian Defense Ministry.

Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a ceasefire on the days of the 80th anniversary of the Victory, announcing that the Russian army would stop hostilities from 00:00 from May 7 to 8 and until 00:00 from May 10 to 11.

In response to this, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy insisted on a 30-day ceasefire instead of a three-day one.
